1944 Parade Army Jeep
My 'Army Jeep" is registered as a 1944 MB, but those knowledgeable folks out there will recognize it as a later re-body with a 1947-ish tub.
The actual frame is '44 vintage and has the cross-member with the machine-gun mount. It has been converted to 12-volt and street legal lights added for turn signals and hazards.
It has also been fitted with an ATF legal 50-Cal. Browning MG replica that simulates firing with propane and oxygen.
It is a blast to drive but even more fun to park in front of the house on the 4th of July and light up the Machine Gun!!
I often take it to parades or special events.
Larry's Comment: When you say it is a "blast" to drive...you aren't kidding...especially with that 50-cal. replica sitting on its mount.
I bet folks prone to "road rage" think twice before getting in your way.
That old Willys is a beauty Jerry!
