1991 Korando

by Paul
(Songtan, Korea)

Hi,

I am in Korea and own a 1991 Korando RV model. Body style is the same as CJ-7 but that is where similarities stop. Mine has a the Peugeot (XD3P) 2.5 liter diesel engine in it.

Trying to figure out what model type transmission, transfer, and axles it has...(axles might be Korean copy of Dana 44s in the back..not sure in the front).

If anyone has any knowledge, please let me know (rhinoowner@gmail.com)

Larry's Comment: Paul, we would like to see your '91 Korando. Could you send a good photo if you have one. Thanks

XD3P

India has produced MM550/Bolero/Armada/Armada Grand/Bolero Camper with the XD3P Engine and Dana 44 Differentials and a Kia Manual Trans (KMT 90)

You could source what you need from Mumbai India easily or Mayapuri, New Delhi.
