2002 Jeep Cherokee Review
by (name not included)
(Connecticut, USA)
I was the owner of 2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo from 2002 to 2005. I got it brand new in 2002 in North Haven, Connecticut. It had a v8, 255 hp engine and four wheel drive with three possible positions: 2 wheel drive (rear), 4 wheel drive part-time and 4 wheel drive full time. The vehicle was used as my primary car to run my daily errands as well as an escape car to go fishing and travel. Because of its large cargo space it was very convenient that I was able to pack lots of stuff in it and when the rear seats were folded there was a lots of space to sleep. My car also had a remote starter installed which was very convenient especially during the winter time. I also replaced the factory radio because it only played audio CD’s. The speakers were fine. Another positive thing – car’s handling during the winter time. I lived on a hill and not once did I have a problem climbing it. Couple of things I didn’t like about it – very low miles per gallon ratio (about 16.5) and its low durability.
