Hurricane My Fav

Jeep Hurricane 2005
My favorite Jeep of all time is the unattainable one - the Jeep Hurricane. This beast of a Jeep is powered by not one but a PAIR of v8 5.7 liter OHV HEMI engines - allowing blistering 4.9 0-60 mph charge. But a Jeep isn't supposed to be a road speedster. A Jeep is supposed to traverse the roughest possible terrain with ease. The Hurricane has a specialized four-wheel steering system, allowing each wheel to be steered independently of the other three. For being a two engined monster Jeep, the Hurricane is surprisingly light - tipping in at 3850 pounds. It achieves this by having a all carbon fiber monocoque body, as well as forgoing doors - it's Dukes of Hazzard to get into the Hurricane. The Jeep Hurricane won Autoweek magazine's “Most Fun” Concept award at the 2005 North American International Auto Show. I agree - easily my favorite.
