I Am a U.S. Navy Vet

My dad retired from the Navy. I most definitely support our troops overseas. They are doing what our government is asking them to do. Whether we agree with that or not isn't the question. In order for our troops to do their jobs with conviction they need all the support they can get. They are doing the best they can. I was in Desert Shield/Storm. The politics of it might not have been clear. I can tell you our mission was very clear. We had jobs to do and didn't let personal feeling get in our way. It motivated us when we received encouraging letters or gifts from the US. It gave us a sense of purpose. No matter what we are all human.

A motivated US soldier with a sense of purpose is an unstoppable force. Lets not forget what they are willing to sacrifice for our country.
