I have a 1997 Jeep TJ (built in 1996)

I have Poison Spider tub, front and rear fenders and a rock crawler front and rear bumper. I have a Rubicon 5.5 lift and many other options.
I was rear-ended by three cars slamming into me at a stop light. My Jeep was knocked 75 feet forward and didn't have a single thing wrong with it. No paint loss or any damage.
When the police arrived they thought it was a hit and run accident. The three cars that hit me were all totaled.
The insurance company insisted on giving me money. The more I refused the more they pushed me. My attorney wanted me to take the money when he saw the condition of the cars that hit me. Finally I told the insurance company I would take $50. They refused, the number was too low.
At last I finally agreed to receive a new gas tank. I used the money to purchase armor for the gas tank. My Jeep is a brick house!!!!
Larry's Comment: That's one tough Jeep Robby! Glad you weren't hurt in the accident.
Also, your '97 Wrangler could easily have been built in 1996, even though technically there was no 1996 Wrangler. Many first run vehicles are actually built at the factory prior to their distribution, which may be in the previous year.
My '87 Comanche was built in 1986...or at least many of the parts were built and tagged in '86.
