JEEP RECOVERY

I think a H2 is way better than any Jeep.

A H2 Hummer is all truck recovery, especially Jeep recovery.


Larry's Comment: Stevin...if GM or AM General had produced the concept HX Hummer in the image above, and added a solid front axle...then it might come closer to competing with the Wrangler.

Unfortunately, the big, heavy, bloated and overpriced H2 Hummers failed for these very reasons.

The Military HMMWV and early civilian H1 were rugged, unique and functional...but leave it to GM to change it into a "bling-bling" looking "pimp-mobile"...with a Chevy pickup chassis and running gear.

I also worry about Chrysler/Fiat, in all of their misguided wisdom, doing the same thing to the Wrangler line. Already the new Wrangler is leaning more toward comfort/tech than function. They are gradually taking the "FUN" out of FUNction!

The automotive industry is a lot like politicians...they tend to do what they want, and not listen to the people who pay their salaries. Just ask GM and Chrysler.
