Mahindra in New Zealand and Africa

by Doug

Army replica Lion research

I owned an old '70s Mahindra in New Zealand. It's now part of an Army Vehicle collection, and has been painted to look like a US army jeep.

I also traveled on one in Africa while helping track lions on a research project. This one was a lot newer model truck type fitted with seats in the back.

Larry's Comment: Tracking lions in Africa...that sounds interesting.

And the elephants in the second photo look a little perturbed. It looks like you and your crew are high-tailing it out of there..ha!

Also, forgive my Mahindra ignorance, but generally what model and year Mahindra is the pickup truck in the photos?
