My 2002 Jeep Liberty

by Gandi
(Kuwait)

For the second time this year my jeep Liberty 2002 was stuck in the sand and I needed help to get it out, and if I was trying to push it more the engine gets crazy hot. Why? Why the engine is getting hot??

The sand is not so deep and my friends is asking me why this is happening to a Jeep??? How can I learn how to avoid all this?

Stuck in sand
by: Ed

Any 4 wheel drive vehicle can get stuck in the sand. Tires make a huge difference and if you are running stock tires you are increasing your chances of getting stuck. I have actually got a Toyota 1968 land cruiser and a '72 CJ-5 with big meats stuck in the sand. So don't blame the Liberty....stuff happens and equipment such as good sand tires matters.
