My Willys and J10. Cheap Jeeps are still out there!

Willys CJ2A (File Photo)
Four years ago I found a '47 Willys CJ2, rust free sitting next to a fruit warehouse where it had been sitting for 20 plus years.
The owners father had purchased it new. Traded a bicycle for it. It is now sporting a 327, turbo 350 trans narrowed 8 Ford rear and straight axle front end with disc brakes.
Three weeks ago I purchased a '74 J10 truck in excellent shape. An older gentleman owned it and it was garage kept. Had 104,000 miles with new motor.
He stated the original engine ran fine but had only 20 PSI oil pressure, which always concerned him so he replaced the 258 with a new long block. He wanted it to go to a good home. I paid $1,800.00. Runs and drives like new.
Keep looking. They are out there!
Larry's Comment: Thanks Jim. Would like to see some photos of those 2 great Jeep finds. By the way, I think your '47 might be a CJ2A rather than a CJ2 for that year.
