Prefer when Jeeps were simple!

I must say that the 1986 and earlier Jeep models are hard to beat. That was back when car ECU's were not such a big deal and we did not have the exhaust regulations like we do today.
With those you could usually just solve a problem or at least find it fairly quick without as much of a worry on price that we face today.
I recently owned a '99 Grand Cherokee Laredo which I loved and would still have today if it wasn't for people hitting parked cars. With the four wheel drive locked in, I felt like I could go almost anywhere. So as you can probably tell, I became a huge fan of that body style especially with the 4.0 motor.
However, nowadays you can get a jeep with an unlimited warranty with the only stipulation being that you must be the first owner.
Though that is hard to beat, I still wouldn't mind having a good old CJ sitting in my driveway instead.
