Teresa's 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Great site. I loved it.

I have my own 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I will always keep and drive. It belonged to my wife before she passed away in Feb, 2007.

It sat for a year after she died. One day I decided to try to start it. Once the battery was charged up, it started right up, so I decided to drive it.

Once on the road, I could understand why my wife loved that vehicle so much (she was a Jeep girl to the core). It has 238,000 original miles and runs and drives perfect.

This last summer I decided to "creek test" it. It went anywhere I wanted to go as long as I used common sense and drove slow. I have owned many 4x4 Fords, Chevys, and Toyotas in the past but this is my first Jeep.

This one hopefully will be with me for the rest of my life. Not only does it carry so many memories of her, when I drive it I feel as if she is some how smiling down at me, because I now too understand the passion that she had for these wonderful machines.

Teresa would have been excited to know that her Jeep would someday be on the internet, on a Jeep site of all things.
