The Jeep Experience Newsletter, Issue #004
April 17, 2008
Hi ,

The Jeep Experience Newsletter is proud to say that thanks to all of you readers and supporters has been growing in popularity all over the world.

My goal as always is to provide you with the most accurate and entertaining information about the wonderful world of Jeeps.

I realized some time ago that many "Jeep" websites and Blogs seemed one dimensional or at the other extreme...scattered.

Don't get me wrong, some of these sites are very successful and provide a great service to their readers. I enjoy many of them myself.

However, in developing I want to provide a family friendly guide for people young and old who just love Jeeps and what they can do. I hope to give a historical foundation and overview of Jeeps in general, and also for your favorite Jeep, with tips and ideas for making your Jeep experience safe, fun and enjoyable.

Don't own a Jeep yet? No worry...I hope to whet your appetite to leave the dark side and come into the unique world of Jeeping.

Okay...enough of that!

So what's been going on here at the Jeep Lover's home base?

Well, on April 5, 2008 I went to the "Jeep Go Anywhere Do Anything" tour in Dallas, Texas. It was a beautiful Spring day and my wife and I took a test drive in a Wrangler JK 4-door. Not just any test! This test drive was through a water pit, over uneven bumpy whoops and finishing with a steep angled climb up an artificial hill and dropping down the other side (also a steep angle) in low gear/low range. A 90 degree turn also awaited at the bottom of the hill.

Needless to say the Jeep was more than up to the task. I would sure love to get one of these new rigs out into the desert!

The next scheduled Jeep tours are listed on the official Jeep website.

In following my series on "Jeeping The Backcountry" and the "Big Bend National Park" the third installment is about the

Chihuahuan Desert which is an awesome place to go Jeeping, camping or just sightseeing.

Several new additions also include these pages:

JT Concept Pickup

Military J8 MPV

Jeep CJ10

Wondering how to get the best mileage from your Jeep? Learn a few tips on How To Save Gas.

Not a bad idea with these crazy rising gas prices!
