The Jeep Experience Newsletter, Issue #013
March 04, 2009
Hi ,

Here at the "home office" of Jeep Lovers things are shaping up for a great Spring and Summer when putting the top down, taking the top off or just rolling the windows down will invigorate the senses with warm air and the smells of new growth.

I love this time of year when the landscape changes from dull to vibrant colors and the call to the outdoors gets even louder. Even many deserts of the Southwest will be in full bloom soon.

I'm hoping to get a chance to return to my favorite place in the world...the Big Bend, Texas area. Although a cool 500 miles from my home in North Central Texas to the far Southwest regions of Texas it is well worth the drive.

The old Jeep Comanche will first need a thorough going over..or I may find just the right Cherokee XJ I've been looking for by then. I am very picky about my Jeeps...which reminds me of a new page I put up recently that might interest you if you haven't seen it already. I got to thinking about how expensive and time consuming upgrading and modifying our Jeeps can be so I wrote this page titled Going Stock or Not? Let me know what you think.

Are you as fascinated by the old Jeep Wagoneers and other Full Sized Jeeps of the past? Well, if so then check out these Wagoneer Videos.

Also, there have been some great readers rides submitted since the last time. Here are a few:

Brandy Boo's nice 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara...

James' sharp 1989 Jeep Wrangler Islander YJ...

Jon's original 1986 Jeep Comanche XLS MJ...and,

Walters' beautifully restored 1979 CJ5 Renegade...

Don't forget to send your Jeep photo and story and get it up on this website for free, zip, nada at Your Jeep Page...or any of the other specific submission pages listed here at Readers "Rants" and "Reviews"...Invitations and Responses.

Thanks again for your support..and until next time..keep the sun at your back and Jeep Safely!

Larry
