2000 Jeep Cherokee Saved My Life!

My name is Kristen. I'm 19 and live on Long Island. I bought this 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport in November of 2010 with 86,000 miles on it for $2,300 (a total steal).

I used it mainly for traveling to school (going from Long Island to the Bronx.) It did an amazing job in all the snow storms we had this past season.

I had to put a good amount of money into it, but I had it in perfect running order. On May 25, 2011 I was hit by a speeding UPS freight tractor trailer. My car was spun around in two 360's and I was sent into a parked car.

Thank God I had this car. All of the police officers I talk to said I would have died if I was driving anything else. I walked out of the accident without a scratch.

I love this car and miss it terribly. It still had PLENTY of life left in it and this accident was terribly unfair.

I just purchased a '97 Jeep Cherokee Country with 144,000 miles for $1,500. Definitely not as nice as my original, but it's a work in progress.

Needless to say, I won't be buying any other brand besides Jeep; the company that saved my life.
