My Red 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ

by Molly
(Ohio)

I have a red 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a standard transmission. I have a 6 inch lift kit, a brush guard and the all important "Life is Good" wheel cover because with a Wrangler life is good. Unfortunately my soft top basically fell apart at the seems so I have a hard top year round. Most of the time I use my Jeep for daily driving, and it's not much fun. I still love driving over a few curbs and accelerating through some pot holes but it is not the best car for daily driving. It doesn't provide much storage space and certainly isn't comfortable for many people. Driving on the interstate is the worst, due to its oh so aerodynamic shape. It is incredibly loud and every gust of wind is a battle. But the days I get to take the doors off and cruise around with some classic rock blaring or with just the sound of the wind driving through the country side, feeling the wind I forget all of that.

I am especially in love with my Jeep when I get a chance to go offroading. Around here it's usually more like mudding, which I'm not a huge fan of, but when I get the chance to go drive up the side of a mountain in Colorado I couldn't be happier!
