Jeep Girl! Mommy Mobile!
(Florida)
My 1992 Cherokee Laredo
I bought my 92 Cherokee Laredo back in about 2000. It's a two wheel drive and has been my mommy mobile since the day my daughter came home from the hospital in it. This Jeep has been with me through thick and thin and never once has it left me stranded, even having an oil leak that I've never been able to repair, it has run for days on end with hardly any oil pressure! It's been through Florida hurricanes, destructive children, and beach sand and has weathered through it all with flying colors. My ex husband has always been a Jeep fan, owning nothing but Cherokees for the past 12 years, and he passed the passion on to me. I wont part with my Jeep till the day it finally dies, and at almost 200,000 miles so far, it doesn't look like that's happening any time soon! I remember one time in particular with my Jeep, on one of my first dates with my boyfriend we took it to the beach. I noticed when we pulled in, a Grand Cherokee buried halfway up the wheels in one of the larger deeper puddles there. We didn't pay much attention at first until the owner came and asked us if we would mind trying to pull him out with his tow strap. I noticed the dirt around the puddle was pretty hard packed and agreed to try, not really thinking it would work. It did take some tire spinning and a little straining but that Grand did pop out of that puddle!
