A die hard offroader, I have now acquired the new Mahindra & Mahindra THAR.

It's a rage due to its high power to weight ratio, and due to this one quality it can go anywhere.

Yes, where no other vehicle has ventured before...

Those Mahindra (American CJ looking) Jeeps do seem to be the rage there in India...and rightfully so.

If I am not mistaken, didn't the new Thar replace the very popular "Major" also produced by Mahindra?

It will be interesting to see if the Thar is a big hit here in America...assuming it will be made available to the USA market. The Common Rail Diesel (CRD) engine would certainly be a plus.
