Real men drive Jeeps

Comparing Jeeps to Hummers is like comparing apples to oranges. Better yet, like comparing real men to sissy men. Even better, like comparing people who are truly outdoorsy and those who are outdoorsy posers.

The Hummer might be bigger and look stronger, but people who buy a Hummer are show-offs. Their big, fancy, Hummers are never taken off road. They roam city streets like prowling lions, trying to intimidate little cars. The Hummer is simply a luxury sport utility vehicle.

Jeeps, however, are the true off road vehicle. The Jeep was made for people who love to be outdoors. Their owners love the wilderness and love to take their beloved Jeeps into the hardest to reach places in the world. Jeep even has a convention for Jeep owners called the Jeep Jamboree. Which its website touts as the "Jeep Owner's Off Road Driving Tradition".

Hummer owners do not have an elite, rugged, off road driving, owner get together. I prefer the Jeep over the Hummer because I want a real off road experience with my vehicle. I don't want to buy a luxury sport utility vehicle to show off my money and pretend that I love the wilderness. When I buy a Jeep, I want to buy a lifestyle. A rugged lifestyle in which I can gather with thousands of other like minded people in the woods, mountains, and canyons to experience the great outdoors. The Hummer can't provide this kind of lifestyle.
