1963 Willy's Jeep Truck- x-fire truck.- Australia

Truck is a standard 1963 Willy's Jeep Truck, right Hand drive. It has an OHC 230 Tornado six cylinder Engine. It has been featured in Jeep Action Australia and also is featured in the Music Video for the Australian Rock band CAT EMPIRE and their song so many nights. It has not been restored as a fire truck but with more of a farm truck theme. The old tray on the back is just the hand made tray that the Country Fire Authority made.

How Good Is This Truck

Having just purchased a 1961 Willys Kaiser Farm Truck from Chinchilla Qld I am now totally inspired to do a restoration as good as the one shown on this page.

Mine is rough & missing some parts but I'm determined to overcome any obstacle to get an end result like your red beast. This jeep is a credit to its builder & owner & I would love to find out how you went about building the suspension & where you found the new parts.

All up thanks for providing the inspiration & I would love to see some other photos of this truck from other angles. Fantastic!

I have a '62 truck (see "48 years young"), and love your truck.

What is way cool though, is that Cat Empire is one of my favorite bands!! They did a free concert in Albany, NY, a few years ago, and I have been a follower ever since. I'm going to YouTube to find the video now.

Hey, if they ever want to shoot a video in the states with a '62 - tell them to reach out for me.
