Love My 2008 Jeep Compass

I have an '08 Jeep Compass that I bought slightly used.

It is 2 wheel drive, and it has the 4 cylinder engine although I don't know what size it is. It is an automatic and the outside color is solid black.

It has plenty of room for me as a daily driver, and for getting my 1 year old son and me around town in relative comfort.

I like the looks, size and the gas mileage it gets. My Compass runs well and has enough power for my needs.

My only complaint is that it tends to stay in first (low) gear for much longer than seems necessary before shifting. This can be quite annoying, and I don't know if it is a characteristic of this model or if there is something else that might be wrong.

My Jeep Compass is pretty tough also. I was hit in the rear by a Lexus a few weeks ago and the Lexus had significant damage to its front end while my Compass had only minor damage to the rear bumper.

Overall, this is a good small SUV to have, and it serves me well for my needs.

However, I think my next vehicle will probably be a Jeep Liberty.


Larry's Comment: Glad you are happy with your Compass. If you eventually get a Liberty, I think you will be quite pleased with it as well.
