When first got it I added new lights & a little winch
Also when I first got it.
First trip with new 33x12.50-15's
Between the both of these yur gonna have some kinda fun!!
Picked this up about a 1 1/2 years ago. Going to be a slow project due to funds, but I can honestly say it's been the most fun toy I have had yet!
It's a 1969 CJ5 with the Dauntless odd fire V6, a 3-speed, and Warner over-drive transfer case.
It has a reinforced roll cage and I'm adding things a little all the time. Parts are hard to find I have found out.
It has just got its first new set of rubbers on it. It had 31x10.50-15's and now it has Mastercraft MT's 33x12.50-15's which means lots better traction!
Still looking for parts reasonable. Needs wiper motor, outside mirrors and about anything else that I can get my hands on. So if you have any spare parts for sale, hit me up!
Also, just installed new brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and a clutch kit. But, done tore 1st gear out some how. Anyone got a 3-speed tranny for this CJ for cheap, or know how I can fix it?
I'm new to the Jeep thing so I'm learning as I go. Also, I noticed they seem to load up a lot on the carb on take off, but idle and go fine.
Any help appreciated.
Larry's Comment: Thanks for the extra photos, Bill.
