I found a 1970 CJ that had been written off as junk. I bought it for $500.00 and now I'm restoring it.

Got it running and driving. Has some rust but not enough to write it off, so a little body work and paint and it's as good as new . Hey guys, with these old Jeeps don't let them fade away. Keep em alive. Their cheap by restoring standards. Thanks for listening.

Great Jeep!
by: Sateesh S. Magal

What must be the timeless sense of design in USA that has spread to rest of the World.

Here in India people are paying up to 2,000 USD for unrestored versions of the CJ series. Restored and running are upwards of 5,000 USD.

Incidentally - I saw a BMW X3 ? Really ugly - Had rear tyres as fat as a combined Tractor Trailer pair.

They do not build like old Jeeps anymore.
