Bad Pig III '69 CJ5

My name is Ike Urbaniak. I am a 100% disabled Gulf War vet.

I bought my 1969 CJ5 last year. It has a 283 V8 Chevy engine, stock axles, and 33 inch tires. I think the engine swap was done sometime in the 80's. I am about to make the maiden voyage Tuesday.

I have found it difficult to find brake parts for the Dana 27. The Jeep came with the front brakes unhooked. I opened one drum and all was there, then opened the other and there was nothing inside it.

I plan to drive it on the streets with some minor offroading.

Larry's Comment: First of all I want to thank you Ike for your service to our country.

Secondly, your CJ5 appears to have come a long way in a year. Looking really good!

Wish I could find the brake set-up for the drivers front on my '69 CJ5.
