California: What a Waste!

Okay.. this article is just one of many coming out of California's Socialist Governance telling the people what is best for them and yet driving their economy (and their citizens) into oblivion:

(Title) "California Cool Car Regs.."

I remember my first 1968 muscle-car which had come from California and was equipped with a bunch of stupid plumbing called SMOG control devices. These things just choked up the engine and since I was not in California I took all of it off..and the car ran GREAT!!!

That was just the beginning of the California politician's agenda to decide what is best for everyone without consent from the people.

Now they want to destroy the Jeep Wrangler, not because it isn't cute enough or in huge demand..but simply because it won't be able to meet all of the crazy regs set forth by the dictatorial California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Left to their lead Californians will only be allowed to drive All Electric (golf carts come to mind) or hybrid econo-boxes made from recycled Jeep Wranglers and other "greenless" SUV's.

Sorry about the insensitive political incorrectness (NOT!)..but California doesn't have the reputation as a "Socialist Republic" and the "land of fruits and nuts"...for nothing.

I hope the folks wake up before it's too late...and stop this nonsense. California is such a beautiful State..Please don't let it go to (further) waste.


NOTE: Shortly after this article review was written the California Air Resources Board (CARB) exempted the Jeep Wrangler (with plastic windows) from the "cool car regs" soon to be imposed on other vehicles.

This small concession still does not justify California's over-regulating, out-of-control, dictatorial State government.
