(Bountiful, Utah)
I rented a few Jeep Liberty's. They had good manners on the road. I didn't get a chance to try them off road.
They were LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Trailblazer's I rented. I once went over Donner in a Trailblazer, and what a pile of do-do. When I needed 4-wheel drive the knob broke off in my hand. At Johnstown in a snow storm I had a chance to try the 4-wheel and COULDN'T TELL ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIGH AND LO RANGE.
Anyway, back to the Liberty. They drove a lot like a car. I guess that is what the masses want. For a daily driver they are great.
I will take my TJ or my MJ for off road.
Larry's Comment: Ah...nothing like having more Jeep options. A Wrangler and Comanche for off road, and maybe a nice Liberty for the daily driver. Sounds good to me!
