I just bought a 2010 Jeep Liberty.
I have had several compliments on how good it looks...especially how sporty it looks. As far as off road capabilities I am sure it will be fine for most light to medium snow conditions, mountain trails/logging roads and light to moderate mud or sand conditions.
The small tire sizes and ground clearance will limit this vehicles capabilities. I don't think Jeep ever intended for this vehicle to go as far into the woods as a Wrangler...then again I don't think Jeep intended the Wrangler to be a good multipurpose family vehicle like the Liberty either.
We love our Liberty and know it will answer the bell when we put it to task....whatever task that may be.
Larry's Comment: Ed...Good review of the Liberty.
