I bought my 2004 Jeep Liberty Limited edition on August 18 2008. The mileage was 56,000 miles and the Liberty was in great condition. The Jeep was beautiful. It had everything I wanted in a vehicle like four wheel drive, CD player, Sunroof and roof racks. The dealership wanted $13,999 for it, but I thought that was a little high. I started talking about gas mileage and found out it was poor on that, the Jeep averaged 16 miles to a gallon. Again I was a little disappointed. I told the salesman I was going to look around at other dealerships to see if they had anything better. He instantly dropped the price to $10,999. He told me my payments would only be around $230 a month, which seemed ok, but I was still worried about the gas mileage with fuel prices so high. I told him that I knew of a dealership that was giving away gas cards with purchases and asked if they did anything like that. He said yes they do, $500 gas car with each purchase. After talking to the salesman for about an hour I managed to get the price dropped to only $9,999. I thought ok, this is great but after we did all the paper work, he handed me my new keys and not one, but 3 $500 gas cards and said it was because he knew i was worried about the gas mileage. So overall I believe I got my 2004 Jeep Liberty very very cheap.
