STRANGE PTO ON MY 1953 M38-A1

I bought this Jeep about three years ago and did a frame-off restoration. I have had other M38-A1's and other PTO's but I had never seen a PTO like the one I found on this Jeep. I am wondering if someone out there can identify it. As background, this was apparently a Radio Jeep (power cable next to passenger seat) and had several civilian owners before I purchased it.

Editor's Note: Any ideas Jeep lovers?

PTO question

Is that the entire PTO? It looks like something is missing? Have you looked in the Quadratec Catalog or other Jeep parts sources to identify it by replacement parts? Just thinking out loud here.

The PTO is complete up to the output shaft. It has the lever in the traditional place between the seats and it rotates when engaged. I have googled PTO's but never found anything like this. Since I acquired the Jeep in Italy, it is possible that this is a NEKAF accessory, but I have been unable to confirm this.

Winch

I have an m38a1 with PTO that runs a winch on the front bumper.
