Learned to drive the M151/M151A1 on the same course used for Armored Personnel Carriers M113. Seemed the course would always have a mud bath to really foul the vehicle which required extensive cleaning afterward.
Whether Jeep or APC, the 90 degree turn could only be accomplished on the down slope by straddling a horizontal ridge of stone and keeping one set of tracks or tires above the ridge as you "hung on the turn and drove".
I earned licenses for APC, M151, M37, and later heavier trucks in Germany. Gives one a better idea of the 8-wheelers responsibility...and bus drivers.
The M151 was easy to flip sideways...
