I love my Libby Loo! '07 Liberty Sport

I have been looking for a small SUV for a while now. I had a Toyota Rav4 and loved it, but really just wasn't spacious enough for the kids and the dogs. And to be honest was looking at the Nissan Xterra because I have owned quite a few Nissans and enjoyed them all.

My husband is a die hard Jeep lover though he prefers the old CJ's over anything else and he suggested I try the Jeep Liberty. Let's just say I did not make it to the Nissan dealer! I am a petite woman (4'10") and my husband is 6'3" and we can both drive my Libby Sport with ease.

I have done road trips and dirt trails with ease. I've done some minor off roading (desert hills) and have had no problems what so ever. I've only had it a month so still experimenting. Planning a trip to Big Bend in May... Can't wait!


Larry's Comment: I've experienced the '07 Liberty on the pavement, but not in the dirt.

I've also been to Big Bend National Park a number of times and your Liberty should do well in most of the park if you choose to go deep into it. I'm assuming your Lib has 4-wheel drive which should handle most trail there with little difficulty.

Big Bend is one one of my favorite places to go. I've been there with a 4x4 International Scout II, a full sized 4x4 Bronco, and a 4x4 M38A1 Jeep.

Needless to say the Jeep performed the best. Is your husband taking a CJ as well? Either way you all have a great time.
